How is PRP treatment performed?

In the method called “PRP-Platelet Rich Plasma”, which eliminates skin defects and gives the skin a young and fresh appearance, some blood taken from the person is placed in a special tube and subjected to centrifugation. The plasma, which is then decomposed into its components and enriched in platelets, is given back to the person through mesotherapy and volume-increasing filler injection. Thanks to the growth factors contained in the structure of platelets; wrinkles are reduced, skin elasticity and radiance are increased and damaged tissues are healed. The ideal duration and number of sessions for PRP, which is applied in the treatment of non-healing wounds and cracks in the face, neck, Decollete area, hands, inner legs, arms, in people with hair loss, is as follows: 3 times with an average interval of 2 weeks in sessions of 30 minutes.

PRP is also used in hair loss treatment

This method, which is preferred for hair loss treatment, November and tendon injuries as well as many problems, helps all people, especially professional athletes, recover in a short time. But PRP treatment is not recommended for people with insufficient platelet count and cancer.

PRP treatment is used in baldness as follows:

First of all, the blood taken from the person is placed in a special tube under sterile conditions.
Then it is placed in a tube with a gel inside.
Then the tube is placed in the centrifuge and the substances in the blood are separated for about 5- 8 minutes.
The plasma portion of the blood rich in tronbocytes and growth factors is separated.
This rich mixture obtained is applied with the help of injections if the hair follicles are still located on the scalp and are alive. Thus, new hair emerges from these roots and the existing hair strands thicken.
This method cannot be successful in people who have completely lost their hair and hair follicles have died. In order for it to be successful, the hair follicles must be alive.

The method is combined with vitamin injections, called hair mesotherapy, for an average of 6-8 sessions every 15 days, depending on the condition of the person, Decently. After the completion of the course, the continuation of the procedure can be achieved with injections 1-2 times a year.

PRP application

PRP treatment begins with blood collection from the person. Plasma containing white blood cells and rich in platelets is prepared and injected into the skin. At the injection sites, platelets and white blood cells form a synergistic effect and ensure the release of growth factors. Growth factors increase the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid, which helps to heal wounds, eliminate skin problems such as wrinkles and acne scars, and regenerate the skin. The procedure is applied in the form of filler injection or mesotherapy, but it is also possible to prepare it as a mask or cream.

You can rejuvenate your skin

In this application, a small amount of blood taken from a person is separated into its components by undergoing a special process, and the resulting small amount of “platelet-enriched plasma” is again given back to the same person by injection for skin rejuvenation purposes. Immediately after application, a healthy appearance and radiance appear on the skin. a lasting effect is observed after 3 or 4 applications. a better effect is obtained if it is repeated every 10-12 months after 3-4 applications every 15 days. The positive results provided by other methods continue for a certain period of time, but the effect is not lost, since the positive results of the procedure completely belong to the applied person.

Platelets renew the skin

Platelets are cells that contain growth factors that repair damaged vessels and other tissues in our body that allow blood to clot. When there is any damage to our tissues, the repair process begins through the platelets. With the application, a much larger number of platelets can be delivered to the target area than can be transported by the bloodstream. When platelets concentrated in plasma are injected into the skin, they stimulate growth factors, collagen production and the formation of new capillaries and allow the skin to regenerate itself quickly.

Who can PRP treatment be applied to?

People who undergo PRP treatment are grouped into two main groups: young and middle-aged. However, 90 percent of the studies on PRP treatment involve young active people, that is, professional athletes. This indicates that the predominant group of people is in their 20s and 30s. PRP therapy; It can be applied in the treatment of acute chondral disorders as an auxiliary method with muscle and tendon injuries in November. In the middle age group, it can be used in the treatment of tendonitis-epicondylitis (lateral-medial), chronic tenosynovitis and early cartilage (arthrosis) diseases. Today, apart from orthopedics and dermatology, this treatment is often used in physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics, aesthetic and plastic surgery, neurology and dentistry practices.

Shortens the treatment process

The duration of treatment varies depending on the person's diagnosis. In general, the treatment, which is recommended to be applied once a month, should last an average of 3 months. If necessary, the number of applications can be multiplied if deemed appropriate by the physician. December November 2, 2019 - In acute period muscle-tendon injuries, one injection is sufficient for early period small tears; in medium and large tears, 2-3 injections are applied at one-week intervals. A total of 3 injections at December intervals of two to three weeks for early gonarthrosis (knee calcification); a single injection is also performed for the treatment of chronic lateral / medial epicondylitis. The time during which professional athletes can return to sports after November muscle injuries is of great importance. The application of early treatment to the region significantly reduces this time.
